How Big or Small is the Ant Man Opening Friday?

Ant Man pulled in $22.6 Million on it’s opening Friday.  That is the second smallest Marvel Friday.  Rotten Tomatoes has it at a 79% and Audience Score of 92% liking it.

I haven’t had a chance to go see it yet, but it looks like it is being well received.  So, perhaps word of mouth will get a fire underneath it.

It might be falling into a trap between Avengers 2 and Captain America: Civil War.  These 2 movies have been talked about with so much anticipation and well, Ant Man shrinks to the size of an ant and rides a winged ant.  That doesn’t make you jump up and down and go “WOW!  A guy rides an ant!”  Hopefully the movie is fun and is entertaining and word of mouth gets it rolling.

Site Update

We are in the planning stages to get this ball rolling.  Schedules are being made and ideas are being hashed out.
